Problem-solving is an integral part of all work in mathematics. It unites all curricular areas. In our mathematics program, the emphasis is on the most important aspect of problem-solving which is the path to the solution rather than the solution itself. This strengthens the abilities of students to articulate the problem-solving process and strengthens their communicating, decision-making and logical reasoning skills. The mathematical content of our math program is accessible to all of the students at Hibbard School.
